2026 RULE AND SCHEDULE UPDATES:

RULE CHANGES:
Cattle: Heifers - we will be adding a single Bred and Owned class at the end of each breed champion drive. Irrespective of birthdates, all Bred and Owned heifers will be able to show within that breed for honors.

Sheep/Goats: NA

Swine: Barrows - if a breed has less than 10 head, they will show as an AOB. Champion AOB will have a guaranteed spot in the premium sale. All subsequent spots will be driven by same percentage calculation as all other breeds based on head shown. We are implementing this in an attempt to keep single class minor breeds from having to come back in after Bronze of cross line up to show through entirety of sale line up.

General: Related to animals making the premium sale, the student must sell the highest placing animal. Should that student have an equal placing market animal and breeding animal (ie - reserve grand wether sheep and reserve grand ewe) the female will be considered the highest placing animal across all species.

Premium Sale: this will remain the same as last year. NO animals will come back for the sale. We will ask students to come in 4H and FFA attire and will be requesting a backdrop photo for the slideshow prior to sale night.

Ag Mechanics: NA
